ISO: Home made beef gravy

Misc.

Hi All !

I am invited to a Christmas dinner, and the only thing they want me to bring is the gravy, because they said they can not make good gravy... little do they know I can't either Ha !! Ha !! They are serving ham. We all had so much turkey gravy for Thanksgiving I want to make a good rich beef gravy for the potatoes. Since I am not cooking any meat that day to use in it for a good home made taste how can I make something really yummy ?
I would also prefer to make it a day in advance, and just reheat in the microwave in my casserole dish, it wouldn't curdle or get lumpy would it? Boy do I feel like a dummy !
I know you guys will have the perfect answer...Thanks so much in advance !! LOVE THIS SITE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
