ISO: looking for cherry bits for baking

Misc.
I'm looking for cherry bits (like the ones found in Betty Crocker Chery Chip cake mix) for baking in cookies. I remember as a child getting these cherry chip cookies at the grocery store, and I want to try to make them. The chips weren't chewy like regular chocolate ones, but just a bit of flavor, like the cake makes. Does anybody know where I can find some?
