ISO: nana's chocolate chocolate chip cookies

Misc.
My best friend refuses to give me this really awesome chocolate cookie recipe that she makes during the holidays. She swears it's a family secret, but I think that cookies are for the world! The cookies are chocolate base with chocolate chips, rolled in white sugar before they are baked, and I think they *might* have hot chocolate mix as an ingredient. It certainly tastes like hot cocoa mix anyway. When they are baked they come out nice and soft, very fudge-y on the inside with the sugar creating a little crunchy crust on the outside. If anyone out there has a recipe that sounds like these I would be eternally grateful.
