ISO: pudding using flour for pie fillg

I am looking for a basic pie or pudding recipe that uses flour rather than cornstarch in it .My grandmother always used flour and I loved the texture of it over cornatarch.She then could add choc or lemon or whatever type of flavor she want after she made the basic filling.If anyone has a good recipe and would like to share I would love it.Thanks,Debbie
