ISO: Strawberry and Peach Preserves not thick enough....

Misc.
Yesterday we attempted to make Peach and Strawberry preserves. Neither of them turned out very well. They look very runny in the jar. What did we do wrong? Did we not cook it long enough?

Is it possible to recook this or should I just throw it away and try another day?
