ISO: Swedish rusks

Misc.
Our mother used to make rusks for our dad to dunk in his coffee. My sister & I have been trying to remember how she did it (we know it was really easy) but can't. We just remember she used hot dog buns and they had cinnamon & sugar on them. Does anybody remember how these are made?
