ISO: the icing that Waldorf Astoria uses on its red velvet cake

Misc.
Hi I am trying to find out what kind of frosting that goes on the Waldorf Astoria cake (red velvet). My mother called it buttercream but some of the recipes I've seen don't strike a cord with me...so what do they use? Thanks in advance if you can help me.
