I saw this recipe in the Daily Press Newspaper two Christmases ago. I went to get it out this year and it seems to have vanished. It was a drop cookie containing no eggs. It was very crisp and easy to make. If you know this recipe, please post it. Thank you.

Hi JP,

I don't know if this is the same recipe that appeared in the newspaper, but I hope it's similar. If not, please let us know and we'll keep looking.

Dutch Sugar Cookies

2 sticks (1 cup) margarine, softened
1 c. white sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Add sugar to softened margarine.
Add flour a little at a time.
Add remaining ingredients mixing well.
Place on cookie sheet, 1 teaspoon of dough at a time.
Pat with fork (dipped in water to prevent sticking).
Bake at 375 degrees for 11 minutes.

Makes 60 cookies
