Bacon tip

When buying bacon I put 2 strips in each zip lock bag and freeze it. Some of the bags I chop the bacon first. This way I always have bacon ready for use in cooking. So seldom do I use more than that anyway and if I do I just take out another baggie. Then I take the plastic sheet the bacon is on, run it through the dishwasher and cut it to size to fit one of my looseleaf cookbooks, punch holes in it and have a page protector. Get your moneys worth from a pound this way.
