Beef with Broccoli, Cantonese Style

Thanks eggy/oz! I will try the recipe this week. I will definitely try to find Gai Lan. I had this dish when I was in 6th grade, 30 years ago, and we lived for a year in St.Louis, Mo. At that time I have a feeling Gai Lan would have been difficulut to obtain in St. Louis. I have come close to the taste of Paula's mom's cooking with some recipes that I have tried over the years, although not in restaurants that I have gone to. I live in a smaller city in northern California, so we do not have the selection in restaurants or Asian groceries that a bigger city would have. Thanks for your help!
