Carolyn, DH doesn't, but my maternal grandfather did! He and my grandmother would come from MI to AZ for the winters and on the way they would sometimes cook their meals on the manifold of their car. Roast once I think and warming sandwiches etc. Somewhere I have a newspaper article I think with instructions for this type of, "cooking". I'll have to see if I can locate it!
