Recipe(tried): Making deviled eggs ahead
Appetizers and SnacksCarol, Yes, it's fine to make your deviled eggs a day ahead. In fact, you can hard-cook the eggs even further in advance, if you like. However, I find that the prepared eggs have a tendency to get a little watery on the bottom (on the outside) when they are held overnight, so I generally put a paper towel under them until I'm ready to put them on a serving plate.
