Chiffon Cakes -

Misc.
Betsy - I would really enjoy knowing just how many people out there have actually tasted or made a real from-scratch chiffon cake. They are really wonderful, but kind of a lost art ala June Cleaver days.

Years ago, I made several, and they're not hard to make but they take a lot of egg whites- I think that's why I stopped making them, we couldn't afford all those eggs back then. I have a recipe for an orange chiffon with an orange glaze that was great. They are so light and refreshing.

How about it - has anyone else out there made one of these?
