Hey there, David!

Misc.

David, I 've just got to print out your story about African Violets for my grandmother. She is 93 and loves African Violets and alos was the grandmother who owned that wonderful old place at Lowell, near Alderson WV. She'll get a kick out of it! She also has some wild stories about going to the Womens' prison there for Sunday mass and about all of the criminals with their beautiful voices singing in the choir. I'll have to get her to tell me that one again so I can pass it on to you. Its a goody, either that or it's a whopper, I can't tell which! Some of grandma's stories have changed a little over time depending on how old she is and how much she's had to drink. Ah, but that's another story in itself! Thanks for your wonderful story and recipe. Your friend in cooking,
Ann in WV
