I need a part for my old Oster Regency!

Misc.
I dearly love my good ol' Oster Kitchen Center, vintage '80's. It has parts that let me mix, knead dough, grind meat or whatever, blend things, grate, slice, chop veggies; and even create a variety of pastas.
But its brushes need replacing, according to my husband, and we don't know where to get some. (Or if it is possible to get into the motor housing to do the job.)
I'd gladly buy a new base, if its brushes weren't worn, too. But looking at the units--and accessories on the market now-- I don't see how I could use all the good stuff I have for my old one.
Anyone know where I can get replacement parts?
