ISO Peppers canned in Tomato Sauce

My husband recently brought home some mixed peppers, (green, red, and some hot) they were preserved in a tomato sauce, I think it may have had olive oil, onion and some herb in it. I know you can purchase these in stores, but they are really expensive and we grow peppers each year and this would be a treat for us. Thanks!
