Mile High Apple Pie?

Misc.

Request: Mile High Apple Pie recipe. It calls for cooking the apples and mounding them in the pie crust. It's about 2 pies worth of apple filling in 1 crust! It is topped off with a traditional crust with an additional struesel topping pressed on top. It was printed in the Columbus, OH Dispatch Cook's Corner about 5-7 years ago and I've lost my copy. I'm sure there is something similar out there. It takes time to make but is worth every minute! Thanks for your help!
