Moulinex Microwave Problem

Misc.
I have a Moulinex Quickchef 1000QE which has suddenly refused to start. I am able to select cooking function and time OK but nothing happens when I press the start button. The oven had worked fine a few hours earlier. There were no funny smells or noises to suggest an electrical problem. I suspect that the problem lies under the touchpad. Has anyone had any similar problems and can they offer any suggestions (and cost!) to fix this. Thanks.
