Pampered Chef items

Misc.
I own several Pampered Chef items. But, I wouldn't recommend many of the items. Many of the items that Pampered Chef sells can be purchased much cheaper elsewhere. I bought the same exact cookie dough press that they sold for over 20.00 for 7.00 at Wal-mart...the exact same one! This was 6 years ago. You can buy a pizza bake stone with rack at Wal-mart for 10.00 today. Alot of the small kitchen gadgets such as the potato peeler, garnishing tools, etc.. can be purchased much cheaper at places like Wal-mart, K-mart and Target. And the quality is much better. I don't like the apple peeler they sell. You need to have a countertop with an edge to clamp it onto, or spend 12.00 more for a stand which is nothing more than 3 small pieces of wood. William-Sonoma sells one that uses suction to hold it steady. I think Amazon sells the same one.

I would recommend the bread tubes, oven mitts, flour/sugar shaker, pan scraper(I still have two of them left out of a package of 3 that I bought 6 years ago), the cut-n-seal and the baker's rolling pin(it has two mini rolling pins, great for small jobs, also makes a great massager).

I think the cookbooks are too expensive for what you get.

Have fun at the party.
