Peanut Brittle vs. Toffee

Misc.

Peanut brittle and toffee are different, but what you describe with the nuts in it and chocolate on top sounds more like toffee than peanut brittle, but I think its a good idea to make it with chocolate on top. The peanut brittle recipe I posted with so much butter in it would make it more like a toffee than a peanut brittle, which I believe traditionally has a lot less butter in it than mine calls for. Good luck! It makes me wonder why I don't make this at times other than Christmas!?!
