Pickling Lime

Misc.

Using pickling lime allows for crisp pickles but after soaking in the lime for 12-24 hours in the frigerator you MUST FULLY rinse off the lime from the pickles than process pickled for canning. Recommended a cold wash and rinse ...at least 4 times Pickling Lime is available at Walmarts. Also - Pickling lime is a strong
agent that can cause skin birns so handle carefully. Read instructions before using
