Recipe: Quick and Easy Seafood Sauce, Spicy Cocktail Sauce, and Victorian Shrimp Cocktail Sauce (Shrimp Cocktail Sauce)
Toppings - Sauces and GraviesQUICK AND EASY SEAFOOD SAUCE
1 cup ketchup
2 tbsp. prepared horseradish (or adjust to taste)
Mix ketchup and horseradish. Serve with seafood or fish.
SPICY COCKTAIL SAUCE
Makes 2 cups
1 (12 oz.) bottle chili sauce
1 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. vinegar
1 tsp. horseradish
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
Combine all ingredients in small mixing bowl. Cover and refrigerate until needed.
This is excellent with shrimp or almost any kind of fish or seafood.
VICTORIAN SHRIMP COCKTAIL SAUCE
1 cup orange marmalade
2 tsp. prepared horseradish (not creamy)
boiled and peeled shrimp
Stir horseradish into marmalade; dip shrimp as one would for conventional cocktail sauce.
