pics on cakes

Misc.
not sure if this will help any, but my mother-in-law decorates cakes professionally. Now, most of the time she can draw anything on a cake (because she is a super talented artist as well), but sometimes she takes a picture, covers it really tight with good quality plastic wrap, and puts in on the top of the iced cake. Then, all she has to do is decorate around the edges of the picture and it's beautiful. Again, not sure if this is something you might want to try or not, but it sure is easy to do.
