Hello,

The message board conversion to the database is going good!

You'll notice a box at the top of each message board that will let you list new messages in that board by entering the number of days. After listing a certain number of day's messages, you can return to the normal view by clicking list with no number in the box. PLEASE NOTE: Currently the list new option will only list the new main titles and will not list any new responses posted - that will be corrected very soon. There are a couple other glitches in the list new feature that will be corrected also (one is listing fractions of sections - i.e. 1.52 sections).

Another change is the indenting - there is only one indent after the main message title so the messages won't go scrolling off to the right. The responses are sorted by date with the latest to the top.

When viewing a message, you can click on the 'view thread' button to list all the messages that go along with the post. This feature is helpful if you link to an individual message through search or an outside search engine and want to see all the related messages. The reply box that used to appear at the bottom of each message has been replaced with a post button.

When posting a recipe that you have tried, please click on the YES response to the Have You Tried This Recipe? question. A red dot will appear in the message list after the title if the recipe has been tried. Recipes posted before the conversion aren't marked.

Known glitches at the moment: clicking on the message board links at the top or bottom when reading a single message isn't working correctly - it will be fixed soon.
