Question on Amish friendship bread!

I have been looking for the starter to make the Amish Friendship bread. I have made this several years ago, and have searched forever for a starter.

I have found several different recipes. Some just containing the ingredients;
1 cup of Flour,
1 cup of Milk
1 cup of sugar.
While some of the other recipes included yeast.

Some of the recipes called for 10 days of stirring or feeding the starter, while others went on for 24 days.

Does it makes a difference on whether I used the yeast recipe or the one without it? And does it make a difference it I go for the 10 day or 24 day?

My husband and oldest daughter love this bread and have begged me non stop to make it again for them! I would for my youngest daughther to have some, since she was just a baby when I made it last.

Any help would be greaty appreciated! Thanks in advance!
