Raspberry Salad Dressing

Misc.

Girard's makes a great raspberry dressing! How great? Too good for just topping up a salad! It's been almost 2 years since we have seen it on the shelves, so reckon the raspberry crop was tremendous this year. It's either that, or the supply has been going elsewhere.

We have used this dressing on baked chicken, pork chops and even drizzled a bit over some veal. Works like a dream every time! Even better if we can get some raspberries to marinate, then lightly saute for an accompanying sauce.

Product comes is regular and fat free; however, my experience with some fat free products have convinced me that using less of the regular works just as well.

Kraft has a fat free Raspberry Dressing as well, so I picked up some to try since it's temporarily on sale (perhaps it's a new item). We hope it will work as well as the Girard's; also hope these dressings will stick around for a bit. I just hate shedding tears when I use up the last of the stash!

Enjoy!
