Use a recipe that doesn't call for wine or as was suggested, use broth instead. Be a little careful about the amount of salt since broths usually have quite a bit in them. NEVER use cooking wine in any recipe. It is terrible!!! The usual advice is to use the same wine that you would drink but since you don't drink wine use broth or water...NEVER use cooking wine (just say NO & don't buy it)...it's the pits:-(!!! It looks like you received a good recipe without using wine. Good luck with your stroganoff
