re: eating raw potatoes

this is in answer to the question about eating raw potatoes. My Mother who would now be 99 and lived until she was 97, always told us that eating raw carrots before a meal would get rid of pin worms if you had them, because they didn't have any food value for the worms, so I think that maybe raw potatoes might do the same. Why not. There were a lot of kids in our family on the farm and I don't remember us ever being bothered by worms.
