re: Food Processor

Misc.
Kelli - I've had my 12-cup Cusinart for about 12 years and still love it and use it often. I have the 'whisk' or 'beaters' (I can never remember what those things are called) and that works well too. At that time I didn't have a big Kitchen Aid mixer - so it was nice. I don't use some of the attachments as much as I did - as other things take their place. Gave my daughter a 9-cup Kitchen Aid food processor a year or so ago - and it works well (I used it when visiting). One of the things I like about that one is it has a little 'mini' processor bowl insert that you can use if - say - you just want to process a few cloves of garlic; bits of herbs, etc. .. doesn't dirty the whole bowl.
If I was buying a new one now, I would consider what I will be using it for most .. and look for strong parts in those areas. Since you've been using your Mom's .. I'm sure you know what you like and don't like about hers.

I'm sure you'll enjoy whatever you get .. cookignup a storm!
