I, too, have the Braun. Have had it for a good 10 years. Probably don't use it as much as I should. My daughter took it along to the university and used it a lot there! I mainly take it along when we're going to the house at the shore, etc. .... as it packs easily and works well. I used to use it a lot in doing sauces right in the saucepan on the range; but I do most of my gravies/sauces in the microwave. I sometimes use it in chilis and soups whenI want them pureed - but not completely (like with the food processor). I think they're very nice - mine has 3 blades but I've forgotten what each is for.
