Hi Janice:

Masa Harina in nothing more than 'coarse ground corn flour' for corn tortillas.

If you can't find masa harina, run some corn meal in your coffee grinder or blender until it is less coarse, almost - a flour and use that.

NOTE: Lard is traditional and always best for making 'good' tortillas.

Corn tortillas are flattened in a 'tortilla press' and flour tortillas are rolled out, until very thin, usually about 8 inches in diameter.
