Request: a Clove Cookie

Misc.
When I was a tiny girl my mother and I used to make this cookie with two colors of dough--one white and one brown. We would roll a small ball of each color dough and put it together on the baking pan. Then insert a whole clove in the center. They were so cute, but we can't find the recipe. I wanted to surprise her
with it this year. Help me!
