Response-Party theme idea

Misc.
Have you thought of having for a theme "Picnic in December". It is just the opposite of "Christmas in July". It is a family tradition that we have a Christmas Eve Dinner which is a picnic and I serve all our favorite summer picnic foods. A red and white checkered table cloth is placed on the table and I use picnic paper plates and cups and plastic forks (RED AND WHITE) to keep in the theme. We also roast hotdogs and toast marshmellows (for somemores)over the open fire in the fireplace. You could expand on this idea and make it very special by serving all the family favorites from the summer.
