SARAH DANFORTH re. Jelly Jars

Misc.

Hi Sarah, I do a very lot of canning and finding jars is always a chore.
Especially the 4 and 8 oz. sizes. Most people where we live in the mountains o
f North Georgia use the quart size. I spent all morning on the phone to see if
anyone has them in yet. I was advised it would still be a few more weeks.

Last year Ball and Kerr merged and are now Alltrista Corp. If you can find a
place that carries Golden Harvest they make a nice jar. If you check the net
under "home-canning" you will find different mail order companies. Also if you
call Alltrista Corporatin 800 392-2575 and request their catalog, you will find
many wonderful products. I do not know what area you live in, but we get great
values on jars at General Dollar and Odd Lots. When they are out of stock we
purchase at Wal-Mart. Good luck and have fun! Patty
