Silicone Pans

Misc.
Hi, All!

I haven't been on the board for a few days (time wouldn't allow)& have come back to a lot of helpful info.

Glad to read all the comments...especially about the salad spinner. I have one...don't remember what brand, but am not crazy about it. Just read about the Oxo in Cook's Illustrated...that's the one they recommend. So of course, that's the one I was thinking about getting...especially now that I've read your comment, Meg.

As far as my favorite gadget...I just like any & all gadgets. I'm a kitchen gadget-nut. I have a lot of Pampered Chef items that I really like (I used to be a PC Consultant). I especially like the garlic press & the batter bowls.About the silicone potholders...I've never heard of them. I'm interested. Where do you get them?

And the rose bundt pan...I'm just dying to get one. I plan to order it from the Betty Crocker catalog within the next couple of weeks.

Shirl, you didn't have any problem getting the cake out of the pan? Did you use oil or shortening?

I also have a stick blender & just love it for making bread crumbs & cracker crumbs.

Well, I guess I've rattled on & on long enough. I just love "talking" kitchen gadgets & recipes...it's my hobby.
