PEPATO - Sicilian pecorino cheese, with black peppercorns set in the middle of the cheese. Has a very sharp flavor.

There is also Spanish & Wisconsin Pepato. I did not find a dish called PEPADO, therefore I think they were referring to the cheese stuffing the cherry peppers.
