ANGUS BARN CHOCOLATE PIE
3/4 cup butter or margarine
1 1/2 unsweetened chocolate
1 1/4 cups sugar
1/4 cup light corn syrup
3 large eggs; slightly beaten
1/8 tsp salt
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell
Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
Combine butter and chocolate in top of double boiler. Melt over boiling water.
Combine sugar, syrup, eggs, salt and vanilla. Blend sugar mixture into butter mixture and turn into pie shell.
Bake in preheated 375 degree F oven for 35 minutes until set.
Servings: 6
