Did you know that an egg slicer is good with fruit as well?
You have to be careful that the fruit is not TOO tough and apply light pressure
I like to clean strawberries and leave on the hull
place stawberrie in the slicer with hull at the bottom now slice almost all the way to the hull
open and "fan the stawberry
dip in melted chocolate now as wwell! YUM!

I slice Kewiees and mushrooms in the egg sliceer as well!
This is not for fuit or even this party but since we are on the subject of slicing try this at your next bbq
buy a yellow, red & green peper
slice off the top (I use a v tool)
clean out inside and fill each with
red=ketchup
yellow=mustard
green=relish
everyone will be soooooo impressed!
