MEAT SAUCE
1/2 lb. ground beef
1/4 chopped onion
2 tbsp. fat (oil or shortening)
1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1/2 tsp. Kitchen Bouquet
1 cup milk
Speck of ground nutmeg
Salt and pepper to taste
(Hot cooked mashed potatoes, rice or noodles, for serving)
Saute meat and onion in fat until browned.
Add remaining ingredients and stir until well blended.
Serve hot (over mashed potatoes, rice or noodles).
