Warning: Toothpicks

Misc.
This is a real true life story....

Just wanted to pass on something to everyone..

I went to my uncle's funeral yesterday..

At Christmas his daughter made a red velvet cake. It wouldn't hold together so she used toothpicks. She thought she had removed all of the toothpicks...
Well, guess what .. she accidently missed one....
Her father got the piece of cake with the overlooked toothpick....
He went about 5 days and he started having some terrible stomach pains...
See, he didn't even know he had swallowed the toothpick...
Yes, family and friends all ask the question," how can you swallow a toothpick and not know it?"...Well, he did...
He was addmitted in the hospital. A whole toothpick was found.
It made it's way on thru his smotach on to his intestin...
In the process the toothpick did alot of damage...
Removal of a big portion of his intestin had to be done...Then he got a bad infection... Doctors had to open and let the infection drain then they found more damaged that had been done. ...Then it seemed everything just went wrong....
He went in on a Saturday and died on the following Wednesday morning....

And the sad thing was he was in good health before this happened...

It's hard when you lose a loved one...

So, everyone just be careful and be aware what could happen....

Think twiced before putting toothpicks in food that may get hidden and forgotten...

I just don't wish this to happen to any of you or your loved ones....

May God Bless Each of You

Thanks for letting me share it really helps...
