When the girls bring them home to cut the rest of the lable off the volunteer coordinator at school told them just the front part. (They bring home bagfuls) and on the GM boxtops for education all they need is the portion on the top that says GM Box Tops for Education. Up until a few years ago I thought they needed the UPC and all. If you want to double check call the school. The lables I love are those plastic ones that shred as you try to get them off
