I am so glad that is the recipe you remember. My recipe is just a clipping, but it has the set-up of Southern Living, with the first word of each paragraph in caps, so am pretty sure that is where it came from. However, the Recipe title is in red, which leads me to believe it was from a special holiday section or something like that. I have had it for several years. Suppose they taste like really fresh Mounds Bars. I guess you could even put an almond on them before the chocolate, if that's the kind you like.
