BOB EVANS CHILI
1 lb. Bob Evans Original Recipe Roll Sausage or Zesty Hot Roll Sausage
1 (15 oz) can tomato sauce
1 (15 oz) can light red kidney beans, including liquid
3/4 cup water
3/4 to 1 cup diced onion
3 to 4 rounded tsp chili powder
1 rounded tsp ground cumin
3/4 tsp. garlic powder
Brown and crumble sausage in large skillet.
Add onion and cook until tender and sausage is no longer pink. Carefully drain off excess drippings.
Add seasonings and blend with sausage mixture. Add remaining ingredients and simmer over medium to low heat for 20 to 25 minutes. Refrigerate leftovers.
Makes 6 servings
