Recipe: Cornflake Sugar Cookies

Cornflakes Sugar Cookies

1 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda (scant)
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. cornflakes, slightly crushed

Mix all ingredients well. Roll into balls and press down slightly. Bake at 350 degrees for 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 50 cookies.
