Recipe: Sweet Marie Bars (using Rice Krispies and peanut butter, microwave)

Desserts - Cookies, Brownies, Bars
SWEET MARIE BARS

1 cup corn syrup
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup peanut butter
4 cups Rice Krispies (or generic brand)
1 cup peanuts
1 (6 oz) pkg chocolate chips
1 (6 oz) pkg butterscotch chips

Combine and cook corn syrup, brown sugar and peanut butter in a microwave for 2 minutes, until melted. Stir and microwave another 2 minutes.

Add cereal and nuts and spread in a pan.

Melt both kinds of chips together and spread over top of mixture in pan.

Makes 36 bars
