ISO: Goody Goody Tomato Sauce for Hamburgers

I would like a recipe for the tomato sauce used on hamburgers at the Goody Goody Restaurant in Tampa, Florida. The sauce was not sweet like catsup, but certainly wasn't plain, unadorned tomato sauce out of a can. I was in school the last time I ate there, and at that time had no idea that I would never again have anything quite so good, much less how to go about recreating it. Any ideas would be much appreciated. The Goody Goody made the best hamburgers I have ever eaten- lots of beef and their great tomato sauce. I've had lots of burgers since then, but none quite as good- they're missing THE SAUCE.
