Recipe(tried): Kruschiki

This recipe was given to me by my beloved grandmother. I guarantee you they will disappear fast!

Polish Kruschiki

2 cups flour
1/4 teasp. salt
2 egg yolks
l whole egg
1/3 cup milk
2 tab. melted butter
l teaspoon vanilla

Mix flour and salt in bowl. Make well in flour. Mix together eggs, milk, melted butter and vanilla. Pour into well of flour. Mix together (your hands will work best for this!) until mixture forms a soft dough. Separate dough into three pieces. Roll out each piece as thin as possible. Cut into strips. Each strip should be about 4 inches long and about 1 1/2 inches wide. Make a slit in the middle of each strip. Take one end of the strip and pull it through the slit.
Once you have done this put each one on a plate and keep covered with a moist towel. Fry in hot oil until very light golden brown. Dust with powdered sugar.
