Recipe(tried): Angel Food Cake with Pineapple - problem

Misc.
Hi, hope someone can help me. On my 5th cake same recipe. Angel food cake mix and add 20 oz. can crushed pineapple with juice. Bake in ungreased bundt or angel food cake pan 35-37 min. Every cake sinks to the bottom. Now I am wondering, am I not to put in the water it calls for in the angel food cake recipe plus the pineapple. Maybe just the pineapple with the juice.
Help, I need to make still another one for Labor Day. Thanks so much
Judy
