Jar of salsa....drain but keep the liquid.
I work at Applebee's and have tried making the Mexi-ranch several different times. The best one I found is to separate the salsa....use a strainer but save the liquid. Put the ranch in a bowl and slowly add the chunky part of the salsa til it got to a good taste and then add just a little bit of the liquid to thin. If you just mix it all it gets pretty runny.
