Recipe(tried): Baked Beans (MED: Recipe you asked about)

Hi MED - I talked to the woman who brought those terrific baked beans to our party the other day.

Here's her recipe:

1 - LARGEST giant can of Van Camp's Pork & Beans (didn't know the exact ounces, but said it was the giant can)
6 slices of bacon, cut into small pieces
1 small onion, diced
1/4 to 1/3 cup brown sugar (depends on how sweet you want them)
3 Tbsp. yellow mustard

Saute the bacon along with the onions until brown and crispy. Add the brown sugar and mustard and stir until well incorporated and melted.

Then add the beans - put into crock pot for 2 or 3 hours on high.

That's it - funny how sometimes the best recipes are "semi-homemade ones"
